I am a self taught artist from the beautiful wild rivers coast of Del Norte and Curry Counties. I have about 15 years experience painting professionally in a wide range of formats. I began my career selling original canvas artwork at different art festivals and markets from Brookings Oregon to Morro Bay California. During my travels I was lucky enough to visit places like Costa Rica, Mexico and Hawaii where I gained inspiration from other artists about what direction I wanted to take with my work. My special focus with my artwork is to create pieces which comment on and honor the awe-inspiring landscape of this special area. I have experience in both exterior and interior large scale murals, one of a kind window displays and custom canvas and illustrative artwork. 

With years of experience in the industry I have developed a special set of skills to tackle most any surface! My largest canvas to date was recently completed in the summer of 2025 and depicts the world famous Smith River landscape. You can see it in person at the Sutter Coast Hospital courtyard in Crescent City CA. I have also been lucky enough to paint for many local companies and private clients in the area. I began painting windows for the holidays in 2021 and have been doing that ever since. More recently I’ve been enjoying taking on more challenging jobs and working larger with my mural work. 

When all is said and done and I hang up my brush for the day, I retire to a little family homestead nestled amongst tall spruce and alder trees along the elk creek watershed. I live in a small modest home built in the 1800’s with my family and our chickens, ducks, cats, dogs and goldfish aptly named Bill and Ted. I am always creating something in my home studio (a free desk from Facebook marketplace carefully stuffed into the corner of my daughters playroom).

I enjoy reading about myths, legends, biographical books and fantasy. I also love to sing, write poetry and music and grow whatever I can in the garden.
